About Wander Fuca
Wander Fuca is more than a coworking space. We’re building a creative destination in Port Angeles that connects local businesses, community partners, and regional tourism efforts. Our agency arm works with clients across design, marketing, and tourism, while our coworking hub supports local entrepreneurs and fosters community collaboration.
The Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Operations & Communications Coordinator — someone who thrives in organized chaos, keeps projects moving, and communicates with clarity and warmth. You’ll support both internal operations and external communications, acting as the connective tissue between our creative team, clients, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities
Admin & Project Support
Maintain project timelines, task lists, and deliverable trackers in Notion (or similar).
Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, send recaps, and manage follow-ups.
Track client deliverables, invoices, and shared assets.
Support scheduling, internal reporting, and general team organization.
Client & Community Communications
Draft and manage professional emails, meeting summaries, and follow-up correspondence.
Serve as the initial point of contact for client questions, scheduling, and updates.
Coordinate coworking tours, membership inquiries, and local partnerships.
Represent Wander Fuca at community meetings and small events.
Marketing Execution Support
Help manage content calendars, asset libraries, and social scheduling.
Assist with newsletter creation, light website edits, and simple copy updates.
Support reporting by collecting analytics from Google, Meta, Mailchimp, and other tools.
Maintain brand consistency and document internal marketing systems.
What We’re Looking For
Excellent written and verbal communication; friendly but polished.
Highly organized and detail-oriented — loves lists, deadlines, and tidy systems.
Understands marketing workflows (content planning, approvals, publishing cycles).
Experienced with tools like Google Workspace, Notion, Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, Canva, and Squarespace.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and nudging busy people when needed.
Passionate about small-business storytelling, local impact, and creative community building.
Nice-to-Haves
Background in marketing coordination, communications, or project management.
Familiarity with the Clallam/Jefferson County area or regional creative networks.
Light design, copywriting, or analytics experience.
Compensation
Part-time contracted position (15–25 hours/week) at $25–$35/hour, depending on experience.
Room to expand hours and responsibilities as Wander Fuca’s agency operations grow.
